Always Wanted To Visit

Have you always wanted to visit a certain place in the world but haven't had the chance to yet? Or have you had the chance to and you found it to be as incredible as you imagined or the total opposite, a big let down? Well I personally have always wanted to visit New York. I did go there once for a day, or just a connecting flight or something to that effect, but I was only very little so I couldn't appreciate it as much as I would do now. I have also for some reason (and I still don't know what that reason is), wanted to visit Dublin in Ireland. There I have never been. Another place is Australia, again another place I have never been. I don't know what it is about all of these places that makes me want to visit them, maybe it is just because I imagine them to be all very different from eachother, or......... I don't know.
Anyway what places would you love to visit that you haven't been to yet, or that you have been to but it was so great that you just can't wait to go back again? I would love to hear all your different tales and thoughts.

When Summer Is Over

Today is an excruciatingly hot and humid day and I'm not liking it in the slightest. There is no possible way that I could ever live in a place that is this warm in the summer time, like it is supposed to be. That is one of the reasons why I like living in England. We used to have the odd hot/humid day in the summer but it was split up with downpours of rain, which made it bearable. As the years have gone on, and especially over the last few years, it has become considerably warmer in the summer and a lot colder in the winter. Personally, I am looking forward to when summer is over and I can safely say that I am a winter person. I love the cold and being able to get warm with lots of layers of clothing and being able to sleep at night all snuggled up in my quilt. In the summer, it seems like you can never get cool enough because you can never take as many layers off as you need to and you can't sleep at night because it's too stuffy. Well I think I have rambled quite long enough for one day so I will leave it here for one day and ask which is your favourite season and why?

Practically a month....

Can't believe that it has been practically a month since I last posted on here! And there's me saying that I will probably have more time to write on here!
I have been really busy though recently, getting things sorted for the arrival of our lovely little baby, shopping and of course housework! By the time I have gotten through the day doing everything that I've been doing, I've been too tired to do anything really. So when all that had been done (and believe me it's still all ongoing!) I have just wanted to sit down and relax and not do much.
Once again today I have been busy already, done two loads of washing, hoovered, put washing out on the line and it is only 12.45pm! So I thought it was best to slow down a bit and have a minute to myself, and of course finally write on here. :)
Well it's a lovely day today, nice and sunny and warm (the latter not too lovely for me) and so may take the dog out in a bit too.
I felt as though I should post again today and so I have and will try to post again, hopefully sooner than a month!
I'm going to stop rambling now by saying Happy Father's Day!

More time on my hands.....

Well yes, I have certainly had more time on my hands, but for some reason haven't blogged in like 8 days, so thought it was about time I updated it! I don't have a clue how that happened, as there have been points where I have walked around aimlessly wondering what to do with me time...
Last week I cooled down in the heatwave by a new lovely big swimming pool in our back garden, that certainly did help a lot! So thanks goes out to my lovely dad and other half for that, even though it did take about 3 hours to completely fill up! Like I said big pool!
I have taken our lovely little dog out on the field a few times which is always fun to watch. I say fun to watch because when she is off her lead and running round burning off all her energy (which I swear it only takes her about 45mins to fully regain it all again), her tail goes round and round in a cirle and her ear's look like birds wings, as if she is trying to take off and become the first flying dog! I think I will end this entry here today and leave you all with that image, so if any of you have got any interesting pictures of your funny furry friends then please share :)

Not Tuesday

I tended to only write a new post on a Tuesday, since I started to post regular, but I finished my first year of my degree and so I'm going to have a lot more time on my hands. So here I am posting....and its not Tuesday!
We are supposed to be getting a heatwave at some point over the summer (though I'm not sure if its this weekend), and I am not looking forward to it in the slightest! I have been absolutely red hot all day and so a supposed heatwave is not going to be great...unless I can keep cool. Now keeping cool is another problem. How are you supposed to keep cool when it is red hot outside, not so much better inside and you have got limited amount of clothing you can chose from because you are six months pregnant? Now I'm sure all of you mums out there and expectant mums out there can all sympathise with me, unless of course you adore being boiling hot, not being able to stay/get cool and being sticky. Well I can say for certain thats not me. So if any of you out there are in the same position as me, or have been or have some great idea's for keeping cool, then please comment and let me know. All followers will be very much appreciated too. :)

Beautiful day...

Today is a beautiful day, and also one of those days where you think that you should be doing something outside, yet the only things that you need to do are inside. Well until I can be bothered to do the things which I NEED to do, I may just take the dog out for a bit. Now that sounds like a plan!
Comment and let me know what you like to do on beautiful days like this. Might give me some ideas for the next time we have a wonderful day in England. That said, you guys have plenty of time to comment! :)

Teachers

So I'm coming to the end of my first year on my degree course and I'm finally starting to see the end of the tunnel...but...and there's always a but. I thought that it would be different this year at college, seeing as it is a degree course I'm doing, but no. This in fact has been one of the worst years yet. None of the tutors have become any more organised, it's got worse. They don't seem to be bothered, because at the end of the day lets face it, they still get paid. It's alright for them, they have their degree's and their jobs, so why should it matter to them. Well, it should matter to them because they chose to become a teacher. It was their choice to pass on their knowledge to their students and to help them gain the knowledge and qualifications to do what they want to do. They got to do what they wanted to do and supposedly they want to help me to do what I want to do, but it sure does not seem that way. So this makes me ask, why do people become teacher's if they can't spend their time actually teaching, or at least telling me what to do so I can get on with it? Why, if they don't care whether their students pass their degree or not, do they bother to continue to "teach"? I can safely say, that if in the future I end up not caring for a job, or caring to do it properly, then I'm not going to do it.

Amy :)
